My story
Hello! I'm Marisa.
I was raised in Saratoga Springs, NY and now live in Rochester, NY. I am a professional photographer and owner/founder of Sweet Image.
My interest and fascination with photography lead me to the College of Saint Rose where I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography. My degree has given me the chance to explore various types of art forms including drawing, sculpture and film. While in school, I had the chance to travel abroad, explore different cultures and build my photographic portfolio.

After college, I assisted several photographers with commercial and wedding shoots. During that time I began to set out on my own, photographing children, families, weddings, stage performances, and business professionals. I developed my preference and skill for shooting in natural light and capturing animals and people in real moments of emotion. To further enhance my skills, I also was a photographer and assistant manager at a professional studio where the focus was portraiture.
